Vantage Thinking ("we", "us") operates the website vantage.fyi. This policy explains what information we collect when you use the site, why we collect it, and how to contact us with any questions or requests.
Information we collect
- Usage data: pages visited, referrer, device and browser type, approximate location (country/region), and timestamps. Collected automatically via standard web analytics (Vercel Analytics) and the Meta Pixel.
- Contact information: name, email address, and any details you provide when you contact us directly (email, Cal.com booking, form submission).
- Cookies and similar technologies: small identifiers stored in your browser by third-party services (Meta Pixel, Vercel) to measure traffic and attribute ad performance.
How we use it
- To respond to enquiries you send us.
- To measure how the site performs and improve content.
- To measure the effectiveness of advertising campaigns and reach similar audiences. This is done by sharing pseudonymous event data (e.g. that a page was viewed) with Meta via the Meta Pixel.
Third parties
We share data with the following processors, only to the extent needed for the purposes above:
- Meta Platforms, Inc. — pixel events and ad attribution. See Meta's Privacy Policy.
- Vercel Inc. — hosting and analytics. See Vercel's Privacy Policy.
- Google LLC — email (Google Workspace) for messages you send us.
- Cal.com, Inc. — call booking, when you choose to book a meeting.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete any personal information we hold about you. Email charlie@vantage.fyi and we will respond within a reasonable time. Australian users have rights under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth); EU/UK users have rights under the GDPR/UK GDPR.
You can opt out of the Meta Pixel by disabling cookies in your browser, using an ad blocker, or adjusting your Meta ad preferences.
Data retention
We retain contact information for as long as it is useful for the relationship (typically up to 3 years after our last interaction). Pixel events are retained per Meta's policies.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above.
